Miming Movement

This approach adopts the use of whole body movements or actions to represent or mime scientific ideas or suggestions.

This technique can be used so that the children can demonstrate what they think is happening to the flow of electrical current, or the molecules in substances that change state, or the germination of a seed into a plant. Reflective discussion can help focus on the interpretations and meanings of the representative actions.
