In this clip the children have the opportunity to explore a variety of seeds and to make comparisons.

This highlights the way in which children need and want to share their ideas both with each other and with adults. In order to achieve this, the teacher needs to create an environment in which the children feel safe and secure and supported by the classroom ethos to explore the resources.
