How will I know who has borrowed which resources and what is lost or broken?
If you develop a system where the children are responsible for resources they will be the ones to tell you. You could also encourage staff to help out, for example:
- Sad face sticker on a box to indicate that something is broken or missing.
- Signing out sheet.
- A stack of laminated cards with class names / number on that is left in the space where resources have been taken from.
- Large red spots (e.g. laminated red card) that are blu tacked onto trays indicating something is broken or missing.
