How do I set expectations in a school?
Firstly by being a role model yourself and if you have an appropriate age group, they can also lead by example, such as children becoming school resource monitors.
Most importantly expectations can be set by including staff in developing a policy towards managing science resources across the school. Encourage staff to involve children in thinking about the routines and rules so that staff and children help to decide what will be most workable in the school. Give colleagues a series of questions, perhaps the ones in this section and ask them to suggest and agree on approaches.
